Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns)
by Mindy Kaling
I liked this book and I would say that it was definitely worth reading...but my goodness. If she complained one more time about her weight I was going to scream. The first chapter totally turned me off and I almost put it down. But as usual, I continued reading hoping that it would get better. Luckily, it did, but I still found it rather annoying. I liked that it wasn't really a book, but rather a collection of short essays. Mindy does a great job making you feel her awkwardness in certain situations, which I also liked. Overall, I thought that she just came off as snobby and whiney. This book did, however, make me want to check out her acting and watch The Office (which, embarrassingly, I haven't checked out yet...).
