This series is fun, quirky, and easy to read - I zipped through all of the books over a two week period. I loved them, and I wish the series was longer! Dan Shamble is a zombie private detective living in a world full of otherworldly creatures, trying to coexist alongside humans. He’s not a fantastic detective, but his stumbles make it even more fun. These stories contain a stable of unique, well written characters, although they are a bit light on actual character development. The world building is fantastic, with great plot pacing as well. Overall, they are light and entertaining whodunnits - and the cheesy cover art perfectly complements them!
