Circumstances bring Zaire and Carter into each other’s orbit and before they know it they find themselves not only trying to unravel the secrets of Carter’s brother but also navigating the intense chemistry between them.
The innocent nurse Carter is thrown into a murky underworld where he’s a fish out of water and Zaire, unknown why even to himself, takes Carter under his wing to help him survive what his actions have put in motion.
There’s an engaging plot that held my interest, plenty of nasty side characters, a house assistant that I really want and enough steam between Zaire and Carter to heat up the sheets.
