Wow!

So this is a reread for me, and the ending still got me, even though I was expecting the plot twist...

Cassandra Clare has the most amazing way of connecting you with the characters, and then breaking your heart at the end of the book. As I said, this was a reread for me, and I was expecting parts of the book to be quite boring (because I knew what was going to happen) and that was not the case at all! I was still shocked, hurt, happy and sad whilst reading City of Bones. Admittedly, this writing style isn't Cassandra Clare's best, but it is also one of the first books she's written (I'm assuming, it is the first in the series...) so I'll let it pass ;) The characters are so likable (most of them) and funny. Honestly, I NEED TO FIND ME A JACE. The premise and plot line of the book is very unique, it isn't like anything I've ever read before. Saying that, the world itself is also very original, and is well developed. Everything was explained well, and I wasn't confused at all.

Overall, this was amazing!
