Highlights:
SEQUEL TIME! I really enjoyed the plot and world-building of the last book and was excited to see it develop more. Kethan and Ivy's relationship became even stronger in this book. I liked how their communication improved and they really supported each other. I was nervous about the introduction of new human characters but I liked them. (excluding Cole obviously)

Lowlights:
Ahnset... I hope there is no attempt in the next book to redeem her because she doesn't deserve it. She absolutely knew what was going to happen and even if Kethan tried to frame her as "seeing the light" in things or whatever it's pure delusion. She didn't have any issue with the Queen forcing herself on her brother so I don't know why I expected better from her. I wish this book had a greater since of urgency. I understand plot wise why things were more slow moving but I think this book had a plot more filler.
