Mariana goes back to Cambridge when her niece's best friend is murdered. There she meets Professor Fosca and soon becomes convinced he's the murderer . He's the leader of a secret society of women called The Maidens.

I love all the secrecy surrounding The Maidens. I love the Greek tragedies I get to learn more about. I was way off in my guess of what happens in the book, but I highly enjoyed it all. I love the little glimpses into The Silent Patient. Well very done.
