Wow, you guys.  I did not think Kresley was gonna pull this off. Lothaire was suuuuch a freaking twatwaffle I didn’t think she’d be able to turn it around. I actually had to put this book down I hated Lothaire so much at about he 80% mark. And Ellie, girl, can we not jump some guy’s bones when we’re mad at him? Body betrayal storylines are weeeak.  It she did it! She turned things around! She got this dick to say

he was sorry and to mean it.

Also I found it delightful that Lothaire, the biggest baddie in The Lore, got paired up with a dirt poor hillbilly mortal from Appalachia. 🧑‍🍳😘
