This story is not at all what I expected. It’s a sweet story of soccer star Chris Fisher discovering and coming to terms with being gay. His mother just recently passed away and he cannot be alone in his grief with the rest of the soccer team watching. He moves into a small single dorm room next to his openly gay next door neighbor. Peter and Chris had a bit of a connection in a tent during a camping trip. I expected this book to be dirty and gritty but it had depth and real heart.
