Love love LOVED!
I've usually got my head stuck in a Fantasy books so it was really refreshing after a few heavy books, to have something fun and light to get stuck into and smile at!
In short, a guy fancies a girl on a train and sends an ad/message to her in the Lonely Hearts kind of column in the paper. What follows is a series of near misses (some more believable than others imo) in which you are stuck on the will-they-or-wont-they rollercoaster which was soooo much fun!
What i really enjoyed with this other than the cuteness overload is that the male MC Daniel was a really likeable and sweet-without-being-a-dullard Nice Guy. I was rooting for him the whole time, more so than the female MC Nadia, who while wasnt a real problem in any way, was just a bit toooo clumsy and woe-is-me for me. Nothing terrible by any means, i just wanted her to be a touch less sappy but thats just me.
Other than that, it was such a cute read, set in the well to do world of young-ish Londoners who have cool friends and do cool events and can actual afford to live here LOL
I really liked it and the only reason i dont give it 5 is because i wanted an all the trimmings HEA! I wanted the wedding, the kids, the grandkids even to wrap it up all nicely in a bow! :D
Definitely check it out if you can, i think i've got diabetes from how sweet this whole thing is, especially when they finally meet! omg omg, i was soo HAPPEEE! haha
