This was a lovely book and the illustrations go perfectly with the concept. It’s about learning to talk when the words are jumbled in your mouth, how to be polite, and how to not be scared. The only thing that this reader was not a fan of, was the mother and her repetitive “make a good impression”. There is nothing wrong with that lesson, but it seems like something better could go there like thinking of Herman’s future, or easing his way in life.
