I'm not sure I've read anything like this before. What a surreal ride to have an entirely omniscient narrator and still feel as tense as the characters.

If you don't like open ended things, this probably isn't for you. I'd also be cautious in recommending this to anyone with end times anxieties; this book is relevant enough to hit climate and race anxieties in uncomfortable ways.
