I found my newest obsession and it’s this series. When I say I freaking loved it, I mean I LOVED it. I’m kinda bummed that it’s the first book and I have to wait for the rest of the series but I’m glad I still have stuff from the authors backlist to read while I wait. This made me swoon, made me laugh, made me a little emotional and was also super sexy. Lila and Hugh were magic together, I couldn’t get enough of them and their hot chemistry. I could move to Cottonwood Cove today and be quite happy, it was the coziest and most adorable town and then add in the secondary characters who were all amazing as well and I couldn’t want anything more. Hugh and his siblings seriously cracked me up and I can’t wait to see more from them in future books. I’ll stop rambling cause I could go on and on and just say if you like brothers best friend, forbidden, boss/employee, small town, and close proximity this was SO good.
