Genre: YA Fantasy 

Cute fantasy story about a South Pacific island girl. The islands are filled with dangerous sea dragons whose coveted eggs hold powers. The girl joins forces with her childhood friend to acquire an egg to save his mom. 

Quick, easy read. Not a lot of world building or character development. I liked the sea dragons and pirate aspect the best. There are even cute animal familiars. Read if you want something light with a Moana vibe.
