Zone Entry is everything I love in a hockey romance—funny, heartwarming, and packed with sizzling chemistry! Maia Kinley delivers a fantastic mix of banter, competition, and slow-burn tension that had me grinning the whole way through.

Caleb and Nick start off as reluctant teammates and even more reluctant roommates, but their dynamic is gold. Caleb’s grumpy, no-nonsense attitude clashes hilariously with Nick’s polished, good-guy image, leading to some of the best back-and-forths I’ve read in a while. The way Caleb pushes Nick’s buttons (and secretly loves every second of it) makes for such an entertaining ride. And Nick? Underneath that picture-perfect smile, he’s snarky, determined, and more than capable of giving Caleb a run for his money.

Their relationship unfolds naturally, with just the right balance of teasing, tension, and genuine connection. While they might get under each other’s skin at first, their transition from rivals to something more feels effortless and real. And the humor? Spot-on. I lost count of how many times I laughed out loud at their antics, whether it was their chirping, off-ice shenanigans, or the way they accidentally started caring about each other.
