Overall a satisfying conclusion to the Winternight Trilogy. The pacing almost killed the book for me, though.

It felt like the Bear and Konstantin were the main hurdles to overcome and it happened a little over half way through the book. It also felt very *tidy* that Konstantin took care of himself and binding the Bear. It took quite awhile before I felt the story found its groove again, because there hadn't been a lot of foreshadowing surrounding how the final battle would resolve.

Overall, I enjoyed how everything was wrapped up and like the series as a whole.
