vampiresessah 's review for:
Less
by Andrew Sean Greer
This was an entertaining listen but not as engaging as I thought it would be. It's a nice story with a story that finishes off nicely. We meet the people in Less' life and see him stumble forward on new and unused paths.
In the end there was a sweet satisfaction that was carefully crafted and hinted at, so that it would pay off.
The moment Less meets Javier in Paris was my favourite. There was a spark there that I would've liked to follow.
Otherwise it's quite uneventful for a book about someone travelling and living in different places. But maybe that was also kind of the point. It's not my usual genre either way.
