I FINALLY gave in to the hype and read this book. The first half of the book is sooooooo slow that I wanted to DNF it plenty of times but the second half was pretty neat.
Getting to the second half is a challenge though. The characters are interesting and I wanted to know what happened to them but the story never goes beyond being skin deep.
There’s so much potential here but it’s like the author didn’t want to work too hard to explore that potential fully. So I was left wanting.
There is way too much emphasis on how hot everyone is and after a while I was like fine I get it! Can something please actually happen.
Anyways, once it got to the second one half that where all the action is and that part is fun.

I still don’t get why it’s as big as it is. It a fluff read and I will probably read all the rest of the books too because it was a fun and pretty mindless.
