This read reminded me of the After books. Could have been the college romance scene but also just cause I felt like a lot of it was cheesy but a good handful of moments. Fun tutor trope, hockey romance/ I also appreciated the brief discussion of domestic/child abuse. I also never understood

why when someone threats one of the main characters because they're dating the other main character why mc1 cant talk to mc2 from the get go. I feel like it really contradicts the fact of an open and honest relationship fmc and mmc built the entire story.
