Hmmm... I was a little disappointed by this. Don't get me wrong - I enjoyed it. But I was expecting more. Maybe all the hype and amazing reviews raised my expectations too much, but it was just an average to good fantasy novel to me. I didn't feel emotionally involved at all.

I've already requested the next book from the library so I will read more, but I'm not desperate to know what happens next, just curious. 3.5 stars but not good enough for 4.
