I loved this series and these characters but Jacks and Eva deserved better. This book left me wanting - the memory lost trope felt senseless and unnecessary and it drag the story, and then everything rushed towards the ending. Although I enjoyed the happy ending I still think it could’ve  been done better. 
It was a disappointing last book for a very good series. All in all a round out 4 for the series.
