I had fun reading this cozy fantasy horror romance. Shesheshen is the cutest and sweetest monster, and it's really cool that the book is entirely in her perspective. There's some modern terminology despite the medieval setting, such as 'enby' and 'allosexual' which is not a big deal to me. Also very much appreciate that Shesheshen and Homily (her human romantic interest) are both asexual. :)
