“Family isn’t who we live with but those we would die for.”
Peaky Blinders with vampires & a heist story at its core.
With a slow moving plot, it took me a while to get into but the set up in the beginning and the ending really came together for me. The middle/heist wasn’t my favorite part, but I think the ending was shocking enough to have me anxious to get the sequel in my hands!! This story also had great commentary on colonialism which I think needs to be applauded.
I thought the romantic relationships were underdeveloped, but my boy Jin with his touch her & 💀 energy was the star of the show!!
Also the spicy things that were said in here 👀 I’d say it was unexpected but welcomed nonetheless lol.
Graphic: Blood, Death of parent, Colonisation
Moderate: Gun violence, Fire/Fire injury
