I think while the issues are important and the basic idea is a solid one to talk about them the execution felt. a a bit lacking. Opening the book with the sort of "mystery" condition of her was an interesting start but the retelling of her whole life up to that point felt a bit...rough. It was neither a personal account nor the "objective" retelling I'd expect from a psychiatrist. The ending was rather abrupt and unsatisfying as her condition was explained too quickly
