This book tries to rhyme and tries to have a cadence, but none of it works.  And the story is lackadaisical.  It’s about everyone being sad that Santa isn’t coming but he is coming.  It’s also about a poor boy who knows he is too poor for Santa to bring toys and gifts.  It's about how everyday people can be santa.  The message is there, but it’s convoluted and not well laid out.
