Diana is an interesting mom and person. Her and Lucy (daughter-in-law) have a very strained relationship. They just really didn't get along too well.
It was a good story and there were quite a few "what were they thinking" moments near the end that I didn't see coming. I didn't really love any of the characters though but enough to finish the story.
