A brilliant biography on The Kennedy Women, delving into the lives of Rose, Jackie, Ethel, Eunice, Jean, Pat, Kick, and Rosemary.

I particularly liked the focus on the family’s role in global events and their lasting impact, always centering the perspective of the women in the family.

The author, Leamer, covers nearly a century of The Kennedy Women's story. While the book includes some tragic and dark elements, it also contains humour and engaging anecdotes, creating a well-rounded and vivid portrayal of such an iconic and recognisable political family. 

The writing was excellent, with rich details that showed thorough research. The narrative had a warmth that I feel is often missing in biographies, which I appreciated as someone who has probably read more fiction than non-fiction in the past. 

Although I came into this book already knowing quite a bit, I still learned loads.
