Bandwidth

DID NOT FINISH
Ah, I tried ... life is too short and there are too many books out there to push through something that just isn't clicking for you. DNF. Over 60% but, eh. I'm trying to put into words what this book was about. The storyline. It just seemed to lack it for me. This is in a not so distant future, but I can't say as I fully felt this world. There is a "feed" (I'm assuming some sort of contacts on the eyes?). There is an Analog club, that cuts off the feed. Everything focused on bandwidth/connectivity. Um, what else ... I really can't remember. It didn't make much of an impact.
I never really got to know the main character, Dag, what exactly his job was, what he was doing.
Very adult ... lots of proFanity and sex.
I was listening to the audio edition, but being on Kindle Unlimited, I had the digital text available too. When I felt like I wasn't connecting, I tried reading in addition to listening, but it just wasn't working for me.
