I think this might be a decent book, but it’s just not for me.
I was thinking it was a little like the diviners, but it’s really not.
I don’t know if jasper and birdie’s situations are explained as the story goes on, but I felt it was needed earlier.
I also didn’t like Allene, like, at all. She was stuck up in a way that Evie O’Neil made completely charming.
So I am DNFing this book.
