April 2022 re-read:
Reading Heartstopper again to prepare for the upcoming show (!!!!!!) this Friday has got to be one of the best decisions I could have ever made for myself!! This story is so, so close to my heart and is just... pure joy. I don't think words can do it justice. Going back to the beginning felt like coming home, and I'm so proud of Alice and of how far Nick and Charlie have come 🥺

I am an enemies-to-lovers girl at heart, but even I must admit - when it's done right, friends-to-lovers is SO, SO GOOD. The pining?? The stolen glances??? The banter, the "does-he-like-me-does-he-not is just. Perfect. And seeing Nick and Charlie's relationship from the beginning while knowing how much more we will get to experience? It's wonderful.

TL;DR everyone PLEASE read "Heartstopper" and watch the Netflix show on April 22nd, thank you very much!!!!!

I just. I have no words. THIS IS INCREDIBLE.

I'm not going to go into too much detail because I'd love to maybe write a review of this on my blog but just know this: Nick and Charlie are my sons that I've raised with my own two hands and I would do anything to protect them and keep them happy thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
