My goodness, Chloe Liese is quickly becoming one of favorite authors of all time. She's outdone herself with Rooney and Axel's story! We got to see some of their story and chemistry in the last book, and I honestly couldn't wait to read more about them. It was so worth it! This is a marriage of convenience, close proximity story that's full of angst but also this beauty because the author explores not only chronic illness, but autism as well. I loved seeing both represented in this book. I LOVED that these two quickly fell for each other, and created a life tougher with their pets. It was also wonderful to read appearances made by the other Bergman siblings and girlfriends. These two truly complemented each other and I was rooting for them the entire time. The tension was gold. Really looking forward to the next book!
