Absolutely loved this one and it is such a perfect read for fall/Halloween!
It’s the perfect mix of witty, funny, and creepy. I thought the characters were fantastic and were far more realistic than some of these fantasy book characters can be. They had flaws and overcame them in ways that don’t make them seem other worldly. The story flowed really well and my group read was constantly trying to come up with theories for the whole book. We were right about some things but not about others.
I definitely think I need to pick up more books by this author going forward!
