This was a difficult book for me to rate. I really disliked the whole love story. I'm sorry but the first few lines were "the wind whispered her name, Sarah is back". And of course instantly this Damon knew he had to meet this women. Of course I'm sure you can guess from there they fell in love completely and instantly. I swear if i had to hear Damon's inner monologue about how he "couldn't believe the love he felt for Sarah after just a day" one more time, I was about to scream! This was probably one of the worst insta love books I have ever encountered.

Now for the positive, I really did like the sisters. They were the ONLY thing that kept me going through this book. I really liked the whole family dynamic, the whole magical element, and even the quaint little town they lived in. This book reminded me of that show Charmed. I guess I felt the same way about that show too, i liked the idea of it but really wasn't impressed with it overall. Honestly I thought Hannah and Jonas's situation was 10x more interesting than Damon and Sarah's.

I will probably give the second book in the series a try, as I can just get it at the library, so really all I lose out on is time. I just hope the story with the next couple is a little less corny and unbelievable.
