A Thousand Beginnings and Endings
by Elsie Chapman, Ellen Oh
This is one of the few anthologies I've read where each story is definitely worth reading. I've been interested in a variety of Asian cultures for years and, for a good while, stories about said cultures were very scarce. Now, that's starting to change and this anthology is a good addition to the surge in the more diverse stories that are starting to come out.
It's very difficult to find Asian myths translated into English, so I didn't have a good basis for most of these retellings, but I was able to enjoy them just fine.
