Red, White & Royal Blue

As someone who loves romance and politics, I can't believe it took me so long to read this. It was absolutely delightful and captivating and (unexpectedly) really funny. I also loved all of the Hamilton references which had me wondering if they were intentional until we discover the literature inserts and that he's Alex's namesake. This book was beautiful and poignant and crass and just so real. It's not often you get such a real book with feelings and swearing and the struggle with how terrible and yet wonderful the world is. Exquisite.
