The Christmas Annual and Funnies were just a great addition to learn a bit more about the characters' backstories and to have a little fun.  I loved those issues.  The old gods' stories really worked better reading chronologically where those individual issues would be vs. all together, so I took my time and read this volume concurrently when necessary with the other volumes and it really helped tie a lot of questions together.  I absolutely loved those one off stories!  I got so much out of them, and I can't believe I'm finally nearing the end of this series!  It's been a long time coming, but it's finally happening!

I want to party like a Dionysus party.

Woah the panels in this issue were trippy as hell during the party scenes. All those colors. The art is just once again flawless to me.

I'm really liking the build up of the story, and I'm falling hard for Laura's character. I want to see her succeed in finding the truth, and I really really want her to discover some fun little gifts of her own.

I definitely still have no clue on the "whodunnit" aspect of the story, but I'm loving just reading and following Laura and the gods' journeys.

Also, I reallly want to go to one of these parties. Looks like it'd be fun as fuck.
