3.5 stars!

I'm finally continuing this series after sooo long and hoping that I'm caught up when the last instalment is released.
I liked it, but I didn't love it as much as the last one. It was fun, but really slow paced. It felt much like a set-up book for the next in the series. I did enjoy it a lot still! The character development was really well done. There was a certain part of the book where I had goose bumps going down my back for 6 pages straight. Aaaah, the pleasure of reading!

Things I liked:
- Celaena's journey and character development
- DORIAN BECAUSE DORIAN
- MAGIC BECAUSE MAGIC
- Sorscha because cutie!!

Things that made me not LOVE the book
- POV'S THAT WAS NOT CELAENA'S BECAUSE I WAS SO INVESTED IN HER AND GOT SO FRUSTRATED WHEN IT SWITCHED
- SLOoooooooow paced
- Not a lot happened due to it being a setup boook

Things I'm unsure of how I feel about yet
- Manon?! I LIKED HER BUT WHERE DID THIS COME FROM
- Rowan?! I liked him but at the same time IDK

ALSO when are we getting more Dorian/Chaol bromance moments and bonding moments and THAT IS ALL I WANT AND HAVE EVER WANTED
