I can't put my finger on a reason, but I didn't like this book. I almost put it down after the first ten pages, I was so repulsed by Marshall, which was the author's point, but Marshall creeps me out really badly. It didn't make me care about any of the character except for Ben, and half the time I felt like the author was trying to turn him into a hate crime. The time switches were really weird and hard to read, and I did not enjoy basically any of it.
