I know I’m late in reading this series for the first time but OMG I’m at a loss for how this book made me feel and the scary part is, is that I’ve heard the second one is more of a soul crusher.

I thank all the booktubers and bookstagrammers out there who brought this book to my attention because now idk how i ever lived without it! This book blew me away. The story was so captivating, the characters were so powerful and so compelling that I either had so much hate for them or so much love for them. The way this story takes you to a place of rage, courage and honor all at the same time made it so hard to put down. I will immediately be picking up A Torch Against the Night and can only imagine how I will feel after that. The third book comes out June 12, A Reaper and the Gates and I just feel my soul leaving my body already.
