Bloom
by Kevin Panetta
Ratings:
Stars: 3/5
Readability: 4/5
Plot: 3/5
Recommend: No
Summary:
Ari works at his parent's bakery, but as he wants to leave and pursue a future in music, he helps hire a replacement. As his replacement, Hector, and he begin to spend time together, Ari can't help but think working at the bakery isn't so bad.
What I Liked:
Like most graphic novels, the art style was both adorable and beautiful at the same time. I loved how there was just one color, making all of it monochrome.
What I Didn't Like:
The romance aspect was slow, but not in a slow-burn way. It was nonexistent for a while, then it just started.
Overall:
Easy to read book, but not that impactful
