Killing Crazy Horse: The Merciless Indian Wars in America
by Bill O'Reilly, Martin Dugard
informative
slow-paced
I read this book for my January selection of my 2021 Reading Challenge. I actually enjoy the Killing Series, in general, and I enjoyed this book. It covered a wider time frame than just what is mentioned in the title, but I learned a lot about the interactions between indigenous peoples and the military which I heretofore was not well versed on in the least. My focus was on European history, and I freely admit my knowledge on United States history is embarrassingly lacking. This was an interesting read, and I am looking forward to the next installment in the Killing Series.
