I don't love a HP reference (especially in a book published in 2024!), but at least there was only 1, and it was in reference to Alan Rickman's character, so at least it's also a nod to the film adaptation of S&S... 

All that being said, I don't know that I ever fully bought into this romance. Love the idea of it, always into Jane Austen retellings, but something missed the mark for me here. Still an enjoyable read, just not the five stars I was expecting.
