real mixed feelings on this one. so first of all, not at all recognizable as a shakespeare retelling tbh. i didn't clock it being king lear at alllll, and sure that play isn't one i'm super familiar with but you would think you'd try to at least make it slightly clearer.

kinda all over the place at times— lotta rushed character arcs, really fun characters but could use more fleshing out, and some scenes did feel very.... stiff.

however i did adoreeee the art style, and this was just a very fun read. maybe not the deepest most complex novel ever, but very entertaining and silly. the twins were so ridiculous, loved them and their comical evilness and hope this series is continued and they show up again. ron and tanya too, like yessss ok oberon and titania we see you (i did clock that reference actually, just not the main retelling of all things lmao)
