Novellas are normally kinda hard for me to review because they're either a lot shorter or just seem to be an extended epilogue. I thought this was a really good one with a pretty well rounded story and characters. 

Beckett is a motocross champion who recently came out, and is feeling like he's missing the passion for the sport he once had. Christian hasn't ever forgotten his childhood best friend turned something more from 10 years ago who abandoned him when he needed it the most, but he can't stop himself from reaching out when he hears the news. 

Their story is about reconnection, not only with people from the past but also reigniting the spark for things that you once loved. After a decade they still have an easy going friendship, even if it's marred by what happened in the past. They want another chance to be together, but there are real obstacles in their way- distance and their careers. Beckett and Christian don't give up each other and work to the make the most of their second chance. 

Can't believe I'm done with the Crossroads series! It was fun seeing everyone together and happy at the end, and I can't wait to dig into more from Riley Hart.
