Even though I guessed what happened pretty early on, it didn't take away from my experience. I loved the writing, it had some cringy "trying too hard to be deep" sentences, but overall, it was flowing nicely.

The theme was great and I loved the inside scoop of a broken family. The characters felt real and they had nice development.

I never know what to expect from Jeneva, from 3 of her books I've read this was the best, another one was meh and the third one was horrible. Good thing I didn't give up on her after the horrible one because I've had a great time with this. 😊
