This was a very interesting read. I am a romance fan. I always have been and always will be so it was very interesting to learn about the history and influence of romance novels. It talks about the evolution of the genre and how it is intrinsically tied to the view of women in society. It was a compelling read and brought up a lot of data and points I’ve never thought about before. Also I love this cover, it’s probably one of my favorite book covers.
