Noemí, on her fathers orders, travels to the Mexican Countryside to visit her cousin after some concerning letters they had received. 

FINAL THOUGHTS 💭 
This a definition of an atmospheric slow burn. The build up sets you up and gives you the perfect gothic setting. You need that build up to get where the author is going, it seems like the pacing was the thing that a lot of people are hung up on while looking through reviews. 
The only thing I think I would have enjoyed more is more into the relationships of the characters it felt a little lacking for me.
