For me the preoccupation with bedbugs and weed kind of slowed the story down and made it seem less a ghost story which is what I was wanting. The first 50% wasn't all that interesting but it did pick up in the last half and kept me going. Once we got rolling everything made sense even the preoccupation and I ended up enjoying this one.
