This was an okay book.
The storyline is an interesting one and one I enjoyed. But how everything unfolds is where I get a little lost. The characters aren’t fleshed out. It’s almost like the author knows what she wanted them to be, but didn’t explain them to the reader well enough. There’s a lot of things which happen because they need to, not because they logically happen. I also found the bullying to be a little unsophisticated.
Also, as an Aussie I’m not offended by swearing, but here it’s too much and seems forced. I would’ve liked to have seen something other than people being told to f**k off.
In the end, it’s an okay book but not one of my favourites, sorry.
