Exes and O's was a very slow burn for me. Although I think the premise of the story, where the main character Tara reconnects with all her exes in the chance of a second-time romance, is fun, I didn't vibe with the characters at the beginning and almost DNF'd. For me, it's worth sticking with it because Trevor is a delight and Tara becomes really likeable as the book goes on. There's also excellent relationships with side characters, some fun steam, and a really believeable friendship framework around them. 

My biggest criticism of this book is that Tara was (to me) quite unlikeable at the beginning and I felt that she was repeatedly presented as "crazy" and "clingy" and as though she actually was all the sexist dogwhistles that she was being called. I think Amy Lea slightly overdoes that. 

I did giggle and enjoy the second half very much so worth your time if you like contemporary romance. In a similar space to the Brown sisters trilogy but not quite as strong as Get a Life, Chloe Brown.
