I wandered willingly into Oz's darkness. I didn't let the glamor distract me from the ugly underbelly of what the Witchers had done. I was sure, for Thea and her boys, that it couldn't get any worse.
I have never been more wrong.
No matter how prepared you think you are for the concluding chapter in the Dark Oz trilogy - trust me, you're not. Geneva Monroe has completed an absolute masterpiece - not just in this book, but in the entire series - and it's got more twists, turns, and drops than the most beastly roller coaster you've ever seen.
I laughed. I sobbed. I clenched my iPad so hard I thought I'd crack the edges. I fell even more in love.
I could write an entire library's worth about this book and still not do it justice. It's clever in ways you never expect, always manages to keep you guessing, and the ending! Oh my Ozma, just you wait.
Geneva Monroe earned a spot on my list of favorite authors with Dark Oz and The Witch Is Dead, and No Place Like Home absolutely cemented it. Do yourself a favor and pick up the entire Dark Oz trilogy. It'll change you for the better, and you'll be glad you did.
